Hollywood looked around, she did not belong here. She had a luggage cart in one hand, and a room key in another. The halls were beautiful, much different then what she was used to at Greg's house. Her grandparent's house wasn't even this nice. If they knew how beautiful this school was, they would have come here themselves, instead of sending her sorry ass here. She wasn't rich, she wasn't spoiled, how would she ever make it in this town? Her grandparents agreed to give her money for room, board and food, but how would she ever fit in? All the kids here would have nice phones, nice cars, t.v.'s the size of their cars, beautiful furniture, and...just everything. What did she have? A suitcase full of clothes she'd been given for Christmas...Charity case, that what she was. A microwave and tiny fridge. Her shampoo and conditions, Hamlet, his crate, his bed, his toys, and her bed spread. She had a box full of personal items, a journal, magazine's full of beautiful women advertising beautiful things. Posters and pictures to hang around the room. Books and binders, markers and pens.
She was ready for school, that was for sure. But she knew for a fact, she would never fit in. She was already worried her roommate wouldn't like her, or Hamlet. She sighed, as she put her key in the door.
